Yes, concrete driveways have a solid reputation for longevity and durability. And over the years we've installed many for our customers.
But in that time, we've also seen numerous reliability issues. Our UK weather means that concrete is often prone to cracking which is both difficult and costly to repair for home owners.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and that includes offering the best quality driveways for the best price. Yet it has become clear to us that compared to all the other driveway options, concrete is not something we would recommend.
For that reason, despite still getting many enquiries for concrete installations, we've decided to no longer offer this option.

Alternative options to a concrete driveway in Reading
Resin-bound driveway
Resin driveways are one of the most sought after driveway options. Visually appealing, highly durable and fully permeable, these are a fantastic addition to your property. The installation is quick, the need minimal maintenance and can be personalised in various ways.
Gravel driveway
Popular for a reason, a gravel driveway is cost-effective and a timeless classic. Gravel is there to stand the test of time. It is low maintenance, it is quick to install and is incredibly affordable. There are also numerous different options of stone.
Asphalt driveway
An
asphalt driveway is a versatile option which embodies both strength and durability. Although it may lack the visual appeal of block paving, gravel oor resin, it is a functional, cost effective solution whilst also being very low maintenance.
Paved driveway
Last but not least, the most traditional of options and the one where you can really make it yours. A
block paving driveway is one which requires a bit more time and patience, but gives far more character and personality to your property. This is a classic for a reason.
